Today - New journal, new photos and most importantly, new camera!

After a week of waiting the DHL man dropped off my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 today. I haven't taken pretty much any photos since back in school and even then it was with your normal SLR, not one of these digital things.

So I set off in the freezing cold with a huge coat on around some of the local spots, the local abbey and a brilliant abandoned railway which is literally 100 metres from my house!

The photos i've taken/uploading today are the first i've taken in over 2 years so some of the composition isn't fantastic. I'm not bothered though, walking around in the freezing cold with my camera is probably the happiest been in a while. Let it be the first of many...
